Meadows Golf Course first opened for play in 1971. The course was designed by Roscoe Meadows.
This relatively flat course does have elevated greens. Water hazards (creeks) come into play on three holes. The signature hole is #1, a 340-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a narrow tree-lined fairway, then an approach shot over water to the green. This course has no sand bunkers, but it does have a thick cut of rough bordering all its fairways. The course is wide open on the right side of most fairways, so slicers will get some breaks.
Meadows Golf Course plays to a 9-holen par-36 and a maximum 9-hole distance of 2,845 yards. The course rating is 35.5 with a slope rating of 113.
